FIRE FIGHTER TESTING CONSORTIUM: Fall 2010 TESTING CYCLE

Course Schedule:

June 28 – July 15, 2010 Candidates can come by and pay $75.00 test fee. This fee includes: the written test, written test study guide, CPAT Prep Guide, CPAT prep class, Interview Prep class, 2 CPAT Practice days, and the CPAT test.
July 6 or July 7, 2010 Open orientation – 6:00p in the EOC Tech Seminar Center.
July 16, 2010 Written test. Test will begin at 6:00 pm. Candidates are required to report at 5:00 pm.  Candidates are required to return study guide in “like new” condition and bring with them a photo ID. NO ID OR NO STUDY GUIDE MEANS NO TEST. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE TEST AFTER 6:00 PM.
July 19 – September 18, 2010

8+ week preparation period for CPAT (required by IAFF) CPAT & Interview Prep courses are available to all applicants during this time period.

August 4, 2010

CPAT Prep Classes are available.
First session, 8:00a – 12:00p. Second session 1:00p – 5:00p. Third session 6:00p – 10:00p.

August 5, 2010

Interview Prep Classes are available.
First session, 8:00a – 12:00p. Second session 1:00p – 5:00p. Third session 6:00p – 10:00p.

August 28 & September 11, 2010

CPAT Open Practice Days. Candidates will have the opportunity to practice the CPAT on our course at EOC Tech. You will need to RSVP by August 27 if participating on August 28 and by September 10 if participating on September 11.

September 18, 2010 CPAT (open to candidates who scored 70% or better on written examination)
September 25, 2010 CPAT (overflow date - open to candidates who scored 70% or better on written examination)

  • Give the following information:
    1. Name
    2. Social Security Number
    3. EOC Tech Center
    4. National Fire Fighter Selection Inventory
    5. Date of Test
    6. Please ask for explanation on where candidate needs to improve on written test.
  • An I/O Solutions Psychologist will contact the candidate to discuss this with them further.
